T Projects are delighted to be working with our client the Royal Botanic Gardens - Wakehurst to deliver an exciting new public art commission with a twist. Wakehurst Mansion is about to undertake major renovations works that will include shrouding the building in scaffolding for up to three years. This presents a unique opportunity to commission an artist to create a visually arresting, impactful artwork to wrap around the scaffold for the duration of the renovation.

We are inviting suitably experienced UK and Internationally based artists to submit expressions of interest to be considered for this commission. We welcome expressions of interest from artists working in a range of mediums, with experience of working within the public domain.

The artist's fee to create the commission is £25,500. This fee covers all time required to complete the commission; meetings; travel; visualisations; content creation costs and any professional advice and services sought by the artist. The costs for the fabrication and installation of the wrap are SEPARATE from the artist's fee.
